London's BEST Cosmetic Surgeon - Hazim Sadideen, Cadogan Clinic

Just a moment’s walk from London’s Sloane Square Station, situated in the highly prestigious area of Chelsea, we are here to meet the exceedingly good, top cosmetic surgeon: Hazim Sadideen.

.

Hazim Sadideen is a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon.

He graduated from Guy's, King's and St. Thomas' (London, UK) with double distinctions, the Riker's award, the George Leach Cup and King's College London Laurels. He is also the recipient of awards and prizes from the University of Oxford, the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS), the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS), and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS). He was also the BAAPS and BAPRAS travelling fellow to New York (NYU Langone, USA) in 2018; this unit undertook the world's most extensive face transplant to date.

Once introduced, we head in for a consultation into his office. Hazim has a wonderful calming aura. Not only exceptionally caring and kind but genuinely a lovely person. We got to know him quite well over our three visits and we have never met a surgeon who not only is extremely knowledgeable, professional but also very compassionate towards his patients.

Our beauty editor is here to receive advice on a looking better, naturally but with cosmetic enhancement and most importantly to still looking herself. Hazim is the king of this desire, not only expressing this to us but also, we noticed this visibly in his work and he definitely doesn’t encourage or create that 'overdone' look. Even if you think you need more, he knows exactly the right amount to make you look rested, lifted, youthful and all round balanced, as you will see in the 'after' images.

After an in-depth analysis, Hazim knows exactly the areas that need subtlety lifting, lightly filling and politely tweaking. There is nothing to be afraid of when visiting Hazim, he is artfully gifted, skilled and you will certainly feel safe in his hands. Hazim asks our beauty editor to look in the mirror and tell him where the areas of concerns are. She points to the wrinkles around her eyes and smiles lines, forehead and an overall droop.

It’s not long before Hazim is sharing his expertise on the anatomy of our skin with diagrams and engaging lingos and with careful and considered examination he advises on which treatments would suit our editor's needs.

Our beauty editor opted for

Botox - forehead, crows feet, glabella - £485

Voluma filler to lift cheeks - £700

Volift filler - nasolabial folds - £700

Tear trough treatment, fine lines and nasolabial folds with Vobella and Volite - £1,250

Total: £3,135

Hazim notices our beauty editor’s brows are slightly unbalanced, which is totally normal, no one is symmetrical. He explains botox will not only help to lift to make the brows balanced but also prevent new wrinkles forming from the eyes upwards. Hazim explains he must start small, rather than freeze the face and then make you feel you’re not you anymore. Therefore, our beauty editor will see him 3 times over the next two months to achieve the look she desires gradually. All of the treatments above are completed over these appointments, not all at once.

On the first appointment, Hazim uses a deeper filler that is used for the bone, in this case, the bones of the cheeks. Using this filler, he injects on top of the bone at the tip of the cheek bones, this helps to lift the skin from below creating a softly lifted and contoured profile. This filler will last 12-18 months. With this being the framework to hold up the skin, he now adds a superficial filler, commonly known for lips and cheeks, this filler is called Volift and is injected into the apples of the cheeks and nasolabial folds to support the structure that has been put in place and create a slightly more youthful, plumper look.

Over the next appointments, Hazim checks on the progress of the last treatments and tops up where necessary, as we said, Hazim would rather start small and add slowly to create natural improvement rather than too much all at once. Botox is injected to correct the wrinkles in the forehead and around the eyes and filler is used to plump fine lines and wrinkles in the nasolabial folds and apples of the cheeks.

As you can see from the before picture, the treatments advised, matched her skin concerns and had impeccable results after all the treatments. The face looks instantly lifted and has an overall youthful glow. They are small tweaks and subtle differences but overall she looks extremely rested, younger and sculpted. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience with Hazim, he is a wonderful person and surgeon and we will definitely be back to see him, even for non-work-related catch ups! The loss of fat and under eye support as we age can lead to the area beneath the eye to become hollow and sunken, leading to dark circles and shadows which can give a tired impression. This loss of Volume under the eye area is called a Tear Trough deformity. Injecting this delicate area carefully with Dermal Fillers such as Juvederm Volbella can fill these hollows, rejuvenating the eye area giving it a new lease of life. This technique is very advanced and should only be done by an Experienced Doctor, such as Hazim. It requires exceptional clinical skill and precision injection of the Juvederm Dermal Filler and understanding of the Anatomy of the Tear Trough, which is what Hazim demonstrated impeccably. What is Botox and how does it work? Botulinum toxin, is a natural, purified protein that is used to temporarily relax facial muscles that cause lines and wrinkles. Botox is the original and best-known brand name and the most tested product on the market. The treatment is used to soften the lines caused by facial expression and can be adjusted to ensure natural results. The duration of results is variable in between individuals but ranges from 3 to 6 months. While there is no real downtime associated with this treatment, it is important to note that you may encounter some slight bruising and swelling directly after treatment, due to the needle. This can easily be masked by makeup. There are no long-term side effects of having wrinkle injections, meaning patients can resume their usual activities straight away, and can also fly post-treatment too. Fillers As we age, the natural collagen and elastin in the skin lessens, as cells lose their ability to produce more of their youthful component. When we are born, we have plentiful amounts of Hyaluronic Acid (HA) in our body, but as we get older this store of HA diminishes, leaving the skin less well supported, and so lines and wrinkles develop. By lifting and smoothing targeted folds and wrinkles by adding subtle volume, dermal fillers can make a difference to a person’s appearance, giving them a fresher look. The treatment of wrinkles with dermal filler will involved injecting this naturally occurring product (HA) through a tiny needle. The discomfort is minimal, as the treatment does not take long to perform. The aesthetic outcomes of these treatments with are seen immediately and leaving no scars.
